The incident occurred in Worcester County around 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, at 85 Patton Road in Devens.

On Thursday, April 12, Lindsay Corcoran of the Worcester County District Attorney's Office identified John M. Ahern Jr., age 62, of West Boylston, as the person who crashed into the front of the building at 85 Patton Road in Devens.

The truck was on fire, and crews worked to extinguish the blaze. Corcoran was found dead in the truck, Massachusetts State Police said.

Officials have not released additional information surrounding the crash. A law enforcement source told NBC10 Boston the incident appears to have been a deliberate act and that a family member had been treated there in the past.

The incident remains under investigation.
